So many people have been in touch asking how they can volunteer, donate, or otherwise give of themselves in support of this mission and we are truly grateful.
Follow this link to check out our Amazon Wish List. Our Wish List includes a variety of items, some of which are only needed now, so we can get through the initial set up. Other items will be an ongoing need. We are seeking:
Personal care items; Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. Household supplies; Cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. Safety items; fire extinguishers, a commercial first aid kit, etc.
Women’s Clothing Donations
Due to limited storage, we are only accepting donations of women’s professional clothing and gently used casuals. We will not accept underwear, bras, or shoes.
One of our goals is to have a professional clothing closet for the purposes of job interviews, new employment, court appearances, etc. We need a variety of sizes and styles to meet this goal.
We also hope to have gently used/new basics (jeans, pants, shirts, skirts) for the women of HER House to take and keep as needed.
Other gifts.
Yes please. We will accept unopened menstrual products, first aid supplies, cleaning products, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. We will also accept coffee and other dry goods (though once we reach capacity, excess food will be donated to other local organizations).
